V is for Vajazzling!!! (not Vodka)

That's right, you read my title correctly, V is not for Vodka...not today.  It probably would have been if one of my besties Steph hadn't said she already know what my V day would be.  So I didn't do it.  However I have to confess that all morning long I was going about my day thinking about what I would post about instead and in all honesty I couldn't get past 'not vodka'.  So I pop onto IM with Steph and explain the mental block she created for me and gave me many good suggestions.  At the top of my favorites was Vagina.  Which reminded me of Vajazzling.  See how that works?

Now I know that vajazzling is hardly breaking news.  Jennifer Love Hewitt made it public knowledge in her interview with George Lopez as he stared slack jawed as she explained it.  It's an old interview from January of last year but I'm going to put it here (I hope it works) in case you missed it.  Very entertaining stuff.

When I first saw it I had my million dollar idea.  Wax for melting and fabric strips, craft jewels and hot glue...do it yourself, redneck vajazzling kits. But don't you know I didn't hop on that wave fast enough.  Before you knew it you could get it done in spas, and even get adhesive designs on transparent plastic and do it yourself in the comfort of your own home.  Missed the boat.  Damnitall.

Now its everywhere apparently.  When trying to find an appropriate picture for this post there were pages and pages of Google images.  Some were quite pretty and there were some things that I really never, ever needed to see.  And guys, I have to ask....if you were getting your groove on with a girl and got down there to find this...what would you think? Seriously, I'm curious.  Not sure that's the word I'd choose but to each their own.

However, in my research this afternoon I've found proof positive that the fad has gone too far.

Yes, I know it's probably photo shopped, at least I hope to God it's photo shopped, however if you do a google image search for pejazzle (what?  I was curious if the guys did it too) there are pics on there very inappropriate to our little blog community.

  1. Mirrored dong? I like it ...but wouldn't want to take a ride on it after all the bejeweling ...because what if one of those things feel off in your hoo-ha ...and it would probably be fairly uncomfortable as well.
    Happy Weekend!

  3. Hilarious.

I would not wear that for the reason that Empress said. And I like my women bare down there, all that other stuff would just get in my way.

  4. it seems that this would cause chafing and irritation. however, it is lovely to look at. maybe i could try it out after a total shave & use sharpies instead. less irritation & lots of color options with staying power!

  5. I personally am a bare as a baby's butt kind of gal so this doesn't interest me. I did think about getting a tattoo there once but Bruce didn't go along with it. If I'd have thought of it before I met him, I probably would have. And listening to Empress talk about your Hoo-ha just about made my iced tea come out my nose. Too funny.

  6. oh my god! dickazzled! I never needed to see that. I have heard about this for the longest time but refuse to take part--so ludacris.

  7. Okay. Here is my take. I must admit, this is the first time that I have ever heard of this. The only question that I can mutter at the present time is (WHY)? I mean, I am a believer in the statement, "whatever blows your hair back" but this is perplexing me in an unpleasant way.
I can't imagine walking up to the counter at the local parlor? and asking the clerk, "Do you Vajazzle?"

And, I could have gone my entire life without having ever seen the Wangjazzle. That my friend, is a hideous crime against nature.

  9. I have never heard of this. Thankyou for bringing it to my attention..... ;)

    Pretty, but.. WHY?
Shaving down there is bad enough let alone waxing and sticking bling to it...

    No thanks.

  12. Emps - Mirrored dong indeed. Nice to look at but really can't fathom the functionality. By the way, the more I look at it, the more I'm thinking that pic is begging to be turned into an award. Hmmmm....

li - Hot glue was my first thought, and then we revised to the stickies they used to include for Lee Press On Nails.

OT- So glad I could tickle your funny bone. *smile* I'm in that same camp, can't fathom how it would be useful or comfortable on a guy, and on a girl, superfluous.

Sherrilyn - OMG, in my research there is even such a thing a Vattooing. They airbrush a pic on for you. But I'm thinking sharpies could work and stay on longer!! LOL

Barb - Can't say that I ever thought of getting the hoo-ha tattooed but it is an idea with merit. I've had ink fever for.....a while now. I haven't been able to settle on what I want and where exactly. Maybe I'll mention it to Darling Husband and see what he thinks!

Jewels - dickdazzled! I love it. I also entertained jockjazzled (thanks again to Steph) and cockjazzled.

ib - like you for the longest time I mused the same question. I'm a live and let live kinda girl, but really? And I think my favorite name for doing it on a guy is wangjazzled. So funny.....speaking of the parlor....before you know it they will be doing it in the nail shops. Some of them already offer the brazilian waxing....what's an extra step?

Bruce - not shooting you. No way, no how. I love you too much!! Besides I love bringing stupidity to your attention.

Sprite - you are living a sheltered life....LOLOLOL. I wouldn't have known about it if a friend of mine hadn't told me about it nearly a year ago. So I live a sheltered life too. Agreed, down there is and really should be a bling free zone.

Possum - So sorry! I told OT as a comment on one of his posts that once you see something you can never un-see it.

  17. Being a guy, the last picture looks like it would hurt to "bedazzle" that part of the body...LOL!

    Thanks for sharing.
